Emily Hong is Vice Chairwoman and CEO of Wiwynn Corporation, a leading cloud IT infrastructure provider for data centers. In 2012, she was appointed by Wistron Corporation to establish Wiwynn to seek the emerging cloud computing business with the new ODM-direct model. Under her leadership, Wiwynn has earned the leading position in the industry and grown into an NTD 193 billion revenue company in 2021.
She is also the Mentor of AAMA Taipei Program of 2022 to coach Taiwanese innovative start-ups growing with her rich industry experiences.
Emily also served as the chairperson of OCP (Open Compute Project) Taiwan from 2015 to 2019 and the director of Cloud Computing & IoT Association in Taiwan from 2010 to 2022 to drive Taiwan’s participation in the cloud computing industry.
Before founding Wiwynn, Emily Hong was President of Enterprise Business Group of Wistron, overseeing enterprise business, R&D and marketing strategy development. She also successfully achieved long-term relationships with worldwide eminent IT enterprises and significant government and private organizations.
Prior Wistron, she served in various management positions at Acer Inc. for sales and marketing. She was appointed as the Chief Business Re-engineering Process (BRP) Officer in Acer period to lead the group transformation.
Emily graduated from the Political Science Department of National Taiwan University (NTU), and the National Chengchi University, Business Administration Executive Program.
