當全球都感受到女性力量帶來的正面影響 ：企業因為有女董事參與決策，展現了更多元、全面的思考，降低了風險，提高了平均淨利與形象。但在台灣，決策階層內的女性領導者被聽見的聲音仍顯不足。社會創新，亦需典範，我們需要更多已有足高力量與智慧的您，一同合力，協助社會前進。台灣女董事協會(Taiwan Women on Boards Association)由此而生。

2018 年，我們結合眾人之力，於今日未來，協助更多企業提高女董事參與決策的比例，建構女董事 Database，成為具有指標性的女性企業領袖團體 ; 鼓勵會員以國際講者身份，參與本會締結、合作的全球組織活動，成為意見領袖;舉辦講座論壇，讓社會大眾以更開放的胸懷，關注政策議題，發揮實質的作用。同時，我們亦將培育、串聯更多新時代女性領導人，將經驗與典範傳承，發揮永續的影響力。

Women have been impacting the globe with positive influences. Corporate boards become more diverse, well-rounded, lower-risks at the same time higher net profits and a better reputation now with women on the board. Taiwan on the other hand still lacks female leadership with their voices still unheard. We need wiser and influencing people like you alongside Taiwan Women on Boards Association (wob.tw)  to hop on the bandwagon in shaping a more vibrant and forward looking society.

In the year of 2018, we initiate to assist corporations with a more diverse board where women can play more significant roles. We have launched our WOB database, becoming the leading female-leaders associations across the region. WOB also forges global interaction by encouraging our members to speak world-wide as key opinion leaders (KOL). 

Our ‘ Hard Talk, Soft Power, Bold Future’ annual forum continues to embrace professional discussions but most importantly, we founded WOB Academy to cultivate and connect more female leaders in the hopes to prolong our timeless legacy and influences.
